reveal your skins true radiance with
dermaplaning at El's house of beauty

Hey there! At [Salon Name], I want everyone to feel welcome and pampered, but I do have a few age-related guidelines to make sure all my clients have the best experience possible.

For Our Younger Beauties (Under 16): If you’re under 16 and looking to treat yourself, I’m excited to help! However, I do require that you bring a parent or guardian along to your appointment. They’ll need to give their consent and stick around during the treatment. This way, we can all be sure you’re safe, happy, and getting the most out of your visit!

Teens (16-17 Years Old): For my lovely clients aged 16 and 17, you can enjoy most of my services with just a signed consent from a parent or guardian. I still recommend having them with you for your first visit—it’s always nice to have some extra support, especially if you’re trying out something new!

18 and Up – You’re All Set! Once you’re 18, you’re good to go! You can book any treatment you like and come in solo. I’m here to help you look and feel your absolute best, no matter what service you choose.

Special Treatments: Certain treatments might have specific age restrictions, so be sure to check when you book. I’ll always give you the lowdown on what’s involved and make sure it’s a perfect fit for you.

Why the Rules? These guidelines are all about keeping you safe and ensuring you have a fantastic experience. I want you to leave my salon feeling fabulous, so a little extra care and attention to age-appropriate treatments go a long way!

Hey lovely! I totally get that life can throw some curveballs, and sometimes you need to change your plans. Here’s the lowdown on my cancellation policy to keep things smooth and stress-free for everyone.

Need to Cancel or Reschedule? No Problem! I know things happen, so if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, just give me a heads-up. I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so I can adjust my schedule and possibly offer your spot to someone else who’s waiting.

Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice? If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a small fee may apply. I’m a one-woman show, so last-minute cancellations can be tricky. The fee helps cover the lost time, but I always do my best to be understanding if something unexpected comes up.

No-Shows: If you miss your appointment without letting me know, I’ll have to charge the full amount of your booked service. No-shows make it tough to keep the salon running smoothly, and I want to be fair to everyone who’s eager to book in.

Running Late? I totally get it—sometimes you just can’t avoid being late. If you’re running behind, give me a quick call or text. I’ll do my best to accommodate you, but depending on how late you are, I might need to shorten your treatment or reschedule.

Why These Policies? These little guidelines help me keep the salon running smoothly and ensure that everyone gets the pampering they deserve. Your time is valuable, and so is mine, so I appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

If you have any questions or need to chat about a change in your appointment, just reach out. I’m here to make sure your experience is fabulous from start to finish! Can’t wait to see you!

To ensure the best possible results and minimize the risk of adverse reactions, we require patch testing for certain treatments, especially those involving new products or clients with sensitive skin.

What is Patch Testing? Patch testing involves applying a small amount of the product to a discreet area of your skin, usually behind the ear or on the inner forearm. This test helps us determine if you might have an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in the product before proceeding with the full treatment.

Treatments Requiring Patch Testing:

  • Hair color and dye treatments
  • Lash and brow tinting
  • Eyelash extensions
  • Certain facial treatments, such as chemical peels or products with active ingredients
  • Microneedling and dermaplaning (if using new serums or skincare products)

Patch Testing Procedure:

  1. Booking: When you book a treatment that requires patch testing, we will schedule a patch test at least 24-48 hours before your appointment.
  2. Application: During the patch test, I will apply a small amount of the product to your skin in a discreet area.
  3. Observation: You’ll be asked to observe the area for any signs of redness, itching, swelling, or other adverse reactions over the next 24-48 hours.
  4. Results: If no reaction occurs, it’s safe to proceed with the treatment as planned. If a reaction does occur, we’ll discuss alternative options or adjustments to the treatment.

Client Responsibility: Please inform me of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or previous reactions to similar treatments or products. If you experience any discomfort during the patch test period, contact me immediately.

Exceptions: In rare cases, clients may choose to waive the patch test after discussing the risks with me. This decision will require signing a waiver form, acknowledging that the treatment will proceed at the client’s own risk.

Rescheduling Due to Reactions: If a reaction occurs, we will work together to reschedule your appointment and find a suitable alternative treatment. Your health and comfort are my priority, and I will do everything possible to ensure a positive experience.

Consent: By booking a treatment that requires patch testing, you agree to follow this policy and understand its importance in ensuring your safety.
